Been hearing a lot about police brutality lately… certainly not as obviously brutal as they used to be, just updated tactics. Kevin mentioned a 5 year old girl in the Tampa Bay area put in cuffs because she was having a tantrum and standing on the desk and such. Hearsay to me, but while he thought it was crazy to put the kid in cuffs, I figured if you have to call the cops in to handle the situation, then you’re going to have to live with cop tactics. Handle yo’ shit, or have it handled fo’ you. Then the UC Santa Cruz video ( http://santacruz.indymedia.org/newswire/display/17436/index.php ) demonstrating the latest in choke tactics. Stupid situation leading up to it, but again, if the cops come in, expect cop tactics. If a school administration can’t handle itself with its students, and calls in the cops, expect a little hard-core action.
