I am with Prager on this;
Keith Ellison, D-Minn., the first Muslim elected to the United States Congress, has announced that he will not take his oath of office on the Bible, but on the bible of Islam, the Koran. He should not be allowed to do so — not because of any American hostility to the Koran, but because the act undermines American civilization.
First, it is an act of hubris that perfectly exemplifies multiculturalist activism — my culture trumps America’s culture. What Ellison and his Muslim and leftist supporters are saying is that it is of no consequence what America holds as its holiest book; all that matters is what any individual holds to be his holiest book.

How can anyone honestly say they condone forcing someone of another religion to uphold his oath of office on a bible that isn’t his own? This kind of reactionary illogic stuns me.
Why not just slap his face and tell him his beliefs are not welcome in this country? Oh yeah, because that would be WRONG!

what a succinct statement of anti-american “caca”. it amazes me how doggedly theocrats strive to persecute themselves.
btw, in 1st google search imgs, oshry does look good (late 60’s hollywood style), though she’s hiding in a stiff tailored 1980’s big-shoulder jacket, plus her nose shows signs of boxing damage or cheap Rhinoplasty. (ie, suffers vanity)
I guess oshry fell for michael jackson’s surgeon’s ad blitz.
