Unleash The Beast
From VariFrank.com, a good article about war, and a quote:
“If the people raise a great howl against my barbarity and cruelty, I will answer that war is war, and not popularity seeking.“
“War is, at its best, barbarism.“
“This war differs from other wars in this particular: We are not fighting armies but a hostile people, and must make young and old, rich and poor, feel the hard hand of war.“
General William T. Sherman
I despise the tactic of not winning a war. This has been going on since Korea, when we didn’t want to piss off the Chinese, so we backed off to the 38th parallel and attempted a staying action. So we end up with a stalemate that STILL isn’t resolved… and we set the stage for warfare in the second half of the 20th century: half-measure war.
Sometime soon we’re going to have to elect someone who isn’t afraid to unleash the beast; someone who will truly fuck up the enemy, civilians be damned, they just need to know they either get out of town or die with the enemy combatants they harbor.
