Barack Hussein Caesar: Marxist

The Obama Administration has just issued an order declaring that federal contractors are “encouraged” to carry over employees when contracts get changed:

The Federal Government’s procurement interests in economy and efficiency are served when the successor contractor hires the predecessor’s employees. A carryover work force reduces disruption to the delivery of services during the period of transition between contractors and provides the Federal Government the benefits of an experienced and trained work force that is familiar with the Federal Government’s personnel, facilities, and requirements.

It is the policy of the Federal Government that service contracts and solicitations for such contracts shall include a clause that requires the contractor, and its subcontractors, under a contract that succeeds a contract for performance of the same or similar services at the same location, to offer those employees (other than managerial and supervisory employees) employed under the predecessor contract whose employment will be terminated as a result of the award of the successor contract, a right of first refusal of employment under the contract in positions for which they are qualified.

Obama: The Business Acumen of an Aardvark · Snapped Shot, Jessica’s Well, Slate, Shopfloor

Honestly, who DOESN’T think Barack Hussein Caesar isn’t a Marxist? A proclamation saying the workers must be kept on while management and supervisors are expendable? If you have any doubts about Glorious Leader Obama, doubt no more. This guy is pure ugly.

The Obamessiah Doth NOT Proclaim

Amir Taheri describes Obama’s Misguided Outreach

[..] Obama should remember that he is the president of the United States – not an impartial broker. It was unfortunate that he described himself as a bridge. For a bridge has no personality of its own and cares little about who might cross it and in which direction.

IF this was meant as the first direct contact between Obama and the Muslim world, the Al-Arabiya interview must be rated as a missed opportunity.

Obama’s remarks about the Israel-Palestine issue were so trite as to merit no analysis. He said he was sending former Sen. George Mitchell to listen to all sides – as if the world has not been hearing their stories for more than six decades.

The president appeared apologetic, offering no hope for democratization and economic development. He made no mention of the economic meltdown that is creating unprecedented mass unemployment in many countries of the region.

Nor did he offer any support to democratic forces facing crucial elections in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, the Palestinian territories, Egypt and Algeria this year.

He had nothing to say about the thousands of Iranian workers who have been thrown into prison solely because they created independent trade unions. Nor did he mention Iranian women’s courageous “a million signatures campaign” or the series of student revolts that have been crushed by the mullahs with exceptional violence.

Nor was there any nod toward reformers in Saudi Arabia and Egypt or the heroic Lebanese democratic leaders who are fighting to preserve their nation’s independence from Iran and Syria.

Obama didn’t call for the release of the tens of thousands of political prisoners held in more than two dozen Muslim countries or a moratorium on executions that each year cost the lives of hundreds of dissidents.

CASTING himself in the role of a “bridge” and dreaming of a return to an illusionary past, Obama appeared unsure of his own identity and confused about the role that America should play in global politics. And that is bad news for those who believe that the United States should use its moral, economic and political clout in support of democratic forces throughout the world.

Israpundit

This is one of the big problems I see with Obama: he’s not for US. Peace, love, and workers of the world uniting is not going to make the citizens on the United States of America safer or better off. Obama has to be pro-American with every single decision he makes, and being conciliatory to genocidal dictators (Iran) and listening intently to madmen who control hordes of maniacal believers of Allah (Hamas/PLO) is not a way to put America first. We don’t need a Xerxes bridge, we need a Spartan ability and will to destroy those who try to hurt us. I don’t see that happening anytime soon from The “I Won”.

The Free Market Doesn’t Work?

I’ve been reading Barry Ritholtz at The Big Picture, and he and his co-authors mostly think that free markets don’t work. I find this very curious. They have excoriated Free Market proponents for promoting the free market and they insist that “regulations” need to be in place.

Maybe I haven’t been following closely enough, but I still don’t know what these regulations are. There are rules in place already, so having some of them removed shouldn’t cause people to lose their minds and kill their companies. Also, it seems that the one rule to which no one is paying any attention is fraud. With junk bonds of real estate mortgages turned to AAA beauties by non-existent insurance, why are we not seeing all these people who issued, backed and sold this bogus insurance being tried for massive fraud?

Like I said, I may be missing something, but it doesn’t seem like a misunderstanding of market principles got us into this mess… not going after those who acted criminally, that’s what got us into this financial mess.

The Obamessiah Doth Proclaim

I think it is possible for us to see a Palestinian state — I’m not going to put a time frame on it — that is contiguous, that allows freedom of movement for its people, that allows for trade with other countries, that allows the creation of businesses and commerce so that people have a better life.
Israpundit

Seriously, a contiguous Pali state? That would mean cutting Israel in half. Idiot.

Freedom of movement for its people… that’s freedom of movement for Muslims in Gaza, Judea and Samaria. There are no Jews in the territories controlled by the PA (not allowed), and a scant amount of Christians (many have been driven out by the Muslims), so for all the terror these Muslims have caused in the region, they need special concessions, a contiguous state, constant international aid to keep them alive, and you better respect them… or else!

Of course no mention is given to the Israelis who have to deal with restricted movement within their own country because of Muslims trying to kill them.

Trade with other countries? They get weapons to kill Israelis for the simple fact that they’re Jewish, so of course their trade is restricted. When it’s unrestricted, Israelis die. Hell, when trade IS restricted Israelis die, so more restrictions should be on the table, not less.

Creation of business and commerce? They had it, for free, when Israel left Gaza. The locals trashed it for being Jewish, so to hell with them and their concerns. Renounce the Jihad, renounce Shari’a, prove yourselves to be good neighbors, and then you can be let loose. Start acting like adults, Muslims of Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and you will be treated like adults. Keep acting out in the cause of your religion, and you’ll get the sword.

Does The Donk Approve? Yes, The Donk does approve. A song supposedly about suicide sung in a maudlin way… perfect.

Just to be clear, I have 82 songs lined up so far, incorporating comments from Daily Pundit and Althouse, and I’ll be posting one song every two days. I guess I’m just making this blog suck a little bit more. If I get more songs, I’ll post ‘em. Your comments and suggestions are welcome.

Worst Songs – #1

I saw a post on Daily Pundit about the worst songs, and I was intrigued. I had heard most of them before, liked some, didn’t like others. So, I figured I’d post the songs with my up or down vote. If you have any bad songs to offer, please tell me. I have checked the comments on DP and have incorporated them.

Does The Donk Approve? No, The Donk does not approve. While the timing is interesting and the subject matter a tad baudy, the song as a whole sucks.

You Can Have My Brownies When You Pry Them From My Cold, Dead Hands

Well, it’s happened. School principals in Australia want teachers to have the power to police lunch boxes from home to remove any offending cookies or chips that are deemed by the State Government as unhealthy.

Junkfood Science

(UK) To fight global warming, the British government has launched a pilot project to reduce household waste, specifically leftover food, by dispatching food police officials known as “food champions” to individual homes.

The seven-week, £30,000 trial scheme is funded by the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) to be carried out by a private firm called Waste Watch.

The project is part of WRAP’s “Love Food Hate Waste” campaign, which has so far cost £4 million. The organisation says food waste has a significant environmental impact, in terms of the carbon generated to grow, transport and package items and the cost of having to dispose of them. [...]The “food champions”, who will be employed by a private contractor, will advise householders to plan their shopping carefully so that they do not over-cater. They will explain the difference between “best before”, “use by” and “sell by” dates, and will give out tips for home composting.

According to one Waste Watch food police official, Tim Burns, “Food waste has such a high impact on climate change and it is something we can all do something about.” Consequently, householders will have to sit down and listen to government representatives tell them how to run their kitchens.Thankfully, food policemen will receive a day’s-worth of training which the government believes makes them experts.
