Pepsi Throwback: It’s A Mouth Full Of Awesome!
So I got the Pepsi Throwback, Mountain Dew Throwback and Dr. Pepper Heritage, and I must say that they all rock.
I’ve never cared much for Dr. Pepper, but the Throwback is fruitier than the newer version.
However, the Pepsi Throwback is how I remember it, and much more subtle in flavor than the new stuff. I assume it’s the sugar, but it could be a slightly different formulation. I guess that because of the big surprise, the Mountain Dew Throwback. That’s much more juicier than the new stuff, definite OJ flavor in there, where the new Dew is more of a citrus flavor.
I can hope Pepsi keeps this around instead of only offering it for a limited time.
Side note: drank the Pepsi Throwback, BEST BELCH EVAR! Seriously, it had depth, it had breadth, and I had time while belching to contemplate how long the belch was. That’s just awesome!
Ok measuring the belch is quite Byronesque.
I would love to try the Dr. Pepper Heritage, you know I love Dr. P. Do they come in diet or only full sugar?
That belch was frickin’ sweet.
I don’t think there’s a diet version, and part of the draw is that the Throwbacks are using real sugar, not High Fructose Corn Syrup.
