Jews Who Hate Israel Are Toolbags

So I was reading an opinion titled “Britain is a hotbed of anti-Israeli sentiment” and I decided to write some words after reading a few of the comments.

I love these putzes. They have no clue about what’s going on in Israel, but they blame Israel for their woes. The scenario usually goes something like this:

“I’m a Jew, but I don’t like Israel because they act all apartheid-like and are doing genocide to the Palestinians. Why don’t people understand that when they complain about Israel to me, I agree with them. I’ve never been to Israel, but if they’re going to try to represent Jews around the world, they should act better and let the Palestinians live in peace and stop making war in Lebanon and all over the place. Don’t they understand that when they do all that they make it hard for me to live peacefully where I live?”

Seriously, to me that’s like getting a skull punch in a bar fight. Stunning, and it hurts in weird ways.

First of all, most of these Jews are young and only know the peer pressure opinion of the collective. Most everyone goes through that, but too often it continues into adulthood, where they should learn more and have a more critical mind. Unfortunately we see less critical thinking.

Second, Israel doesn’t represent all Jews, it’s a Jewish state that has its own issues to deal with. However, all these people who complain to you about Israel because you are Jewish, that’s one of the reasons Israel was created. Israel is the Jewish “Home Base” in a game of life-or-death tag. When those same people blame you for what Israel does because all you dirty, scheming, money-grubbing Jews are all the same, this just proves a point why Israel needs to exist. You can’t be persecuted for being a Jew in Israel, so that’s your safe haven.

If you, as a Jew, have issues with the way Israel deals with its hostile neighbors, then you should delve into the history and make sure you have your facts straight. There’s a LOT of info out there, so fair warning, it’ll take some time. Once you have that history in mind, then state your case for change if you still believe change needs to be made. As you are right now, you’re nothing but a whiner who wishes all your “friends” would leave you alone because those Israelis are so mean to the poor, downtrodden Palestinians by killing them en mass and stealing their land. Stop being a tool and read about it A LOT MORE. If you can’t put in the time to learn, keep your half-assed opinion to yourself.

Start here and work your way around the net.

Muslim Love in Sharon, MA

I grew up in Sharon, Massachusetts.  Nice town, not too big, not too small.  Also very Jewish, meaning a high concentration of Jews lived there, not that is was a mostly Jewish town.  As I’ve mentioned before, I always wondered why the Muslim center opened up in Sharon, of all towns.

Now, besides the fundamental Muslim policies of ICNE, we see they’re getting their freak-on Muslim stylee.

I personally don’t care if you want to have 1 spouse or 50 spouses, as long as all parties can agree with the arrangement.  However, for now it’s illegal, and I see these actions as signs that Muslims (not all, but many) don’t want to become part of America, they want to bring Muslim values into America and force the USA to accept their values while rejecting our values.  They act this way not because we should all be treated like adults, but because Allah wills it.

Unacceptable.

Freedom Of Speech

I’ve been following Islamo-Fascist Awareness Week in the blogs, and have been disappointed (but not unexpectedly so) by the protests that disrupted and/or shut down the speaking engagements.

I find that kind of behavior reprehensible.  Certainly they can think what they wish, but their actions are boorish and uncivil.  Protest before the event, protest after the event, but when a speaker is invited to speak you should allow the speaker to be heard.  There was no such protest with Ahmadenejad, no shutting down of his speaking engagement (as vile as he is), but plenty of protest in the appropriate places.

But when it comes to Right of Center views, the protests are loud, yob-ish, and sometimes violent.

A lot of people are talking about this problem in the realm of Freedom of Speech.  Here’s how some people describe Freedom of Speech in the comments at IncorrectU:

“sweet jesus you people are dense. here’s a rundown on how free speech works: horowitz is free to spew as much hateful misinformation as he can, and the students at emory are free to call him on his crap and let him know that his opinions are stupid. that’s called free speech. get a clue, geniuses.”

And…

“That is freedom of speech; expression without fear or burden of being persecuted for speaking, whether it is popular or not.”

The Freedom of Speech — of which they’re so fond — is much closer to Texan than Bruce, except replace “persecuted” with “prosecuted”.

First Amendment “Freedom of Speech” is a protection from governmental intervention, prosecution and imprisonment for speaking about things that are not popular or well accepted by the public.

What these people are debating, in actuality, is civility… or lack thereof.

Dog Fighting and Meat Eating

This is what I think, too.  This guy Mike just had the ability to write it out coherently.  :>

Off Topic: Dog Fighting and Meat Eating

Whether we admit it or not, other entities (and this
includes animals) have value only to the extent that they are useful to
us. Living things do not have value to
themselves, as Immanuel Kant would not
have argued, but rather have value as means to our ends.

Ass Raped (Lubeless) By The Telephone Company

Cringely rules information.  Read the short article that tells about how U.S. consumers have been destroyed by the telcos - The $200 Billion Rip-Off.

And the upshot is that I could move to Japan and pay $14 per month for
100-megabit-per-second Internet service but I can’t do that here and
will probably never be able to
