I’m sure the polar bear angle gets more hits, but I’m kinda shocked that the kid and uncle were reported missing on Saturday, a pilot saw the kid on Sunday afternoon and threw him some candy, and then he was REspotted on Monday morning, when rescue efforts began to take place.

Seriously? A whole day from initial spotting to rescuing? How shitty is the coordination up there? Someone can easily die within that time, so I hope the Canadians are REchecking their shit to make rescues much faster.

If the President and the progressive Democratic party get their way every one in America will be forced to purchase health care whether they wish to or not.  There are those who point to the fact that many states require drivers to buy liability insurance for your car as evidence that the government can force you to purchase health care. One problem with that opinion is the reason for forcing people to buy car insurance is to protect the “other guy.” Hence liability insurance is required but collision. which protects your own car is not.

If Obamacare is passed the only way to stop the government from taking over your health care, rationing medical treatment and taxing you out of existence may rest in the Supreme Court. The big question is does the constitution allow the government to force us to purchase something?  If so where is the line. Instead of mothers, will it be the federal government forcing children to eat their veggies? Now that we own GM and Chrysler,can we be forced to purchase one of their cars?

That’s what I’ve been sayin’, yo! It’s unconstitutional all the way. If the whole point of the United States Constitution is to limit government power, how can all these huge expansions of power be in the spirit of the Constitution, let alone the letter of the Constitution? Limited government is the only way to keep your liberty.

Y’know, I really am a bad blogger. I may’ve seen this meteorite here in Florida, or a different piece of it. I was smoking one of my now-banned flavored cigarettes on my porch, and I’m looking up in the sky and I briefly see a very bright light go past. I assume it’s a meteorite, but I found it odd because it had no trail. I thought it might be an aircraft, but discount that idea because of its brief viewing time and rate of travel across the sky. It was, if I recall correctly, moving somewhat Northward, but I can’t be sure if it was traveling Easterly (my porch is on the north side of my house). So, who knows, maybe I saw this one they’re looking for.
