In Germany, Anti-Judaism On The Rise

Elder of Ziyon

An informal and accidental alliance has been developing for some time between neo-Nazis and some members of a group they would normally despise: Muslim immigrants. The two groups seem to share vaguely similar anti-Semitic ideologies.

Anti-Semitism from the two groups shows itself in different ways in Germany. On the one hand, there are the efforts of extremist right-wing groups, which tend to follow a certain pattern. During a football match in April, for example, supporters of SV Mügeln-Ablass 09, a district-league football club in the eastern state of Saxony, chanted “a tree, a noose, a Jew’s neck” and “we’re building a subway, from Jerusalem to Auschwitz,” until the match was stopped.

According to the German government’s response to a parliament inquiry by Left Party politician Petra Pau, Jewish cemeteries in Germany are defaced, vandalized or destroyed about once every 10 days. Memorial sites are also frequently targeted. Last month, for example, extremists defaced a memorial plaque in the western city of Bochum, a Jewish cemetery in Babenhausen in the state of Hesse and a memorial in Beckum in the Münsterland region.

Accidental alliance? This “accident” has been happening for most of a century now.

How embarrassing… Hizb’allah soldiers all at the same time accidentally give the Nazi salute at their swearing-in ceremony. *blush*

Muslims in Malmö, Sweden, Remind Holocost Survivor of Third Reich

Elder of Ziyon

Meanwhile, 86-year-old Judith Popinski says she is no longer invited to schools that have a large Muslim presence to tell her story of surviving the Holocaust.

Popinski found refuge in Malmo in 1945. Until recently, she told her story in Malmo schools as part of their Holocaust studies program. Now, some schools no longer ask Holocaust survivors to tell their stories, because Muslim students treat them with such disrespect, either ignoring the speakers or walking out of the class.

Malmo reminds me of the anti-Semitism I felt as a child in Poland before the war,” she told the Forward while sitting in her living room, which is adorned with Persian rugs and many paintings.

I am not safe as a Jew in Sweden anymore,” a trembling Popinski said in a frail voice. But unlike others, she intends to stay in Sweden. “I will not be a victim again,” she said.

Obama Administration pushing Sharia in Kenya

Jihad Watch

via Obama Administration pushing Sharia in Kenya.

U.S. financial and rhetorical support for the Kenyan constitution has some members of Congress calling for an investigation. In a letter to Department of State officials and others, Reps. Chris Smith of New Jersey, Darrell Issa of California and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida raised questions about U.S. lobbying in Kenya — specifically, the possibility that the Obama administration may have violated federal law in doing so.

Administration officials have denied any impropriety. But, as the letter points out, our ambassador to Kenya has been quoted as saying that the U.S. has given Kenya $2 million for “civic education” on the constitution, and that we’re committed to more.

“The U.S. shouldn’t be interfering with this process, and we have serious questions about why the Obama administration is promoting a constitution which allows abortion on demand and waters down protections for religious freedom,” Rebecca Marchinda of the New York-based World Youth Alliance, which has an office in Nairobi, says. [...]

the proposed constitution would also create a legal system within a legal system — codifying the strengthening of sharia by making it apply to every Muslim Kenyan. As Eric Rassbach of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty points out: “People are subjected to these tribunals merely by virtue of what religious community they were born into, and they have no way of opting out.”

Ray Walser of the Heritage Foundation gives the Obama administration the benefit of the doubt: “I would suspect the administration is pushing the constitution package as a whole with the promise to reduce presidential power and to place constitutional safeguards against corruption.” That would take Vice President Biden at his word. But the Achilles heel of this administration is that it is not, in the subtle words of Walser, “adverse to measures that permit space for sharia-like legal customs — for Muslim outreach/public-diplomacy purposes“…

Nina Shea, director of the Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom, has a more direct and alarming warning: “The U.S. is drifting unconsciously, haltingly, inconsistently toward a foreign policy that actively promotes the state coercion of Islamic strictures. It adopted such a policy in its financial and legal drafting support of the constitutions of Iraq and Afghanistan. … It did so at the U.N. Human Rights Council in October 2009, when the U.S. joined with Egypt, representing the Organization of the Islamic Conference, to introduce a resolution calling for states to enforce their hate-speech laws. It explained its initiative, which shocked many NGOs, as seeking to ‘reach out to Muslim countries.’” [...]

I would guess that it is not the decision of the Obama administration to promote Sharia specifically, but I do agree with the quote from Nina Shea: “The U.S. is drifting unconsciously, haltingly, inconsistently toward a foreign policy that actively promotes the state coercion of Islamic strictures. It explained its initiative, which shocked many NGOs, as seeking to ‘reach out to Muslim countries.”

All of this outreach has anti-Western influence, and I don’t agree with promoting anything that goes against our own principles. It’s our money, let’s promote our principles. Instead we get Islamic supremacist documents in all the countries we go into, with merely the facade of democracy and human rights.

Qanta Ahmed, MD: Israel and the Flotilla: On the Dangers of a Binary View

When will we understand that Israel’s security problem is everyone’s security problem, that a threatened Jew is a threatened Muslim, that suicide bombers can come to a neighborhood near you, that there is no morality in the destruction of life and that these problems are so big they require all of us to engage together and collaborate, not polarize around primal tropisms and alienate? When will that be? When?

Muslim FBI informant ostracized by Muslim community in U.S.

Jihad Watch

via Muslim FBI informant ostracized by Muslim community in U.S..

One would have thought that the Vast Majority of loyal, patriotic American Muslims would celebrate Mahmoud Omar as a hero. Why don’t they? Why does a man who helped the FBI against jihadists say, “I lost my people. I lost my religion”? And why don’t authorities ask that question, and seek answers to it? “From star FBI witness to ostracism, loss,” by George Anastasia for the Philadelphia Inquirer, June 27 (thanks to all who sent this in):

Muslim Prayers Block The Streets Of New York

Advice Goddess Blog

via Muslim Prayers Block The Streets Of New York.

There are whole neighborhoods in Europe wherein life stops when Muslims pray. If you happen to live in a building that is blocked by the public prayer, you wait until the Muslims finish their prayers prior to entering/leaving your building.

Draw a Muhammad days are nice but unless the populace rises up and pushes out this ideology from its midst, I guarantee that in fifty years Western democracies will be extinct concepts (not unlike the litany of other civilizations that are no longer with us). This is not hyperbole. It is cold facts.

Sharia in the UK: Dog barred from London buses for fear of offending Muslims

Jihad Watch

via Sharia in the UK: Dog barred from London buses for fear of offending Muslims.

As they tried to board the bus, the driver stopped her and told her that there was a Muslim lady on the bus who “might be upset by the dog”. As she attempted to remonstrate, the doors closed and the bus drew away.

When a second bus arrived, she again made to embark, but was stopped again – this time because the driver said he was Muslim.

Rachel’s Tomb and the making of a Muslim lie

Once again, we have a case of where Muslims claim shrines of other religions as being their own. In this case, they added a completely new reason to venerate the site – specifically to take away the obvious fact that Rachel herself is associated exclusively with Jews.

via Rachel’s Tomb and the making of an Arab lie.

First, these Muslims are despicable. Second, what’s with equating Arabs with Muslims? I know why so many people do it, but it’s inaccurate. These people aren’t trying to turn this Jewish holy site into an Arab site, they’re trying to turn it into a Muslim site. Here’s to hoping the Elder gets it right from now on.
